Congratulations to the Brookland-Cayce HS
Soccer program for being one of only seven schools in the Palmetto State to
qualify for the prestigious NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2007-2008
academic year.
From the NSCAA
press release:
A total of 397 soccer teams (145 boys,
252 girls) from throughout the United States have earned the NSCAA Team
Academic Award for exemplary performance in the classroom as a team during the
2007-08 academic year. Among these programs are 52 schools receiving
honors for both their boys and girls teams.
To qualify for the award, the team must have
a minimum grade point average of 3.25 for the entire academic year. The team
GPA is determined by adding every player's GPA, then dividing by the number of
players.
