CRSA promises to continue to expand as increasing numbers of young soccer athletes commit to a higher level of play. As the popularity of soccer increases nationwide, select soccer provides an important and enjoyable avenue for younger athletes in the Greater Columbia area to develop better skills.
Classic Soccer Objectives
Player Code of Conduct
I will:
Train and play to the best of my ability.
Exemplify sportsmanship.
Respect officials and their decisions.
Only give encouragement to my fellow teammates.
Respect my coach.
Attend and be prompt to all games, practices, training sessions, etc.
Notify my coach/manager when I am unable to attend a practice or game.
Immediately report an injury to my coach.
Learn and obey the laws of the game.
I will refrain from:
Engaging in descent toward an official.
Use of profane or vulgar language.
Use of controlled substances (drugs).
Act in any manner detrimental to my team or CRSA
Parental Code of Conduct
I will:
Respect officials and accept their decisions.
Support the coach, manager, and the team.
Volunteer my services and talents to the club when possible.
Meet my financial commitment to the club on time.
Familiarize myself with the laws of the game.
Comply with the rules, policies, and procedures of CRSA.
Discuss my child only.
Discuss my child only with the coach.
Not discuss my child with any other person.
Discuss my child only at a time mutually agreed upon with the coach; never prior to, during, or directly after a game.
I will refrain from:
Engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct directed toward an official, coach, player or other parent.
Act in any manner which is detrimental to the team or CRSA.
