SCSOCCER.COM: SCYS Celebrating Soccer Success

SOUTH CAROLINA YOUTH SOCCER CELEBRATING SOCCER SUCCESS

It's official, South Carolina Youth Soccer is celebrating their 2012 league, Olympic Development Program, hosting of U.S. Youth Soccer Southern Regional and National Championship success by inviting the Nigeria National Academicals U17 Soccer Champions to a thirteen day soccer exchange with the Palmetto State. The Academicals are made up of high school students looking to become members of the Nigeria U17 national team.

The Nigeria Academicals are scheduled to play four games in the three districts over thirteen days. First game will be played in the Piedmont District on Tuesday August 14, 2012 at the MeSA soccer complex with CESA. Game time is 7:00 PM.

The second game will be in the Coastal District on Friday August 17, 2012 at the Charleston Battery Facility against the Charleston Battery Academy. Game time is 7:00 PM.

Third game will be played in the Midstate against South Carolina United FC on Monday August 20, 2012. Game time is 8:00 PM and the final game will be played in Rock Hill, against Discoveries on Wednesday August 22, 2012. Game time is schedule for 8:00 PM.

This International Soccer Exchange is the first of many top youth soccer games scheduled in the state to test and expose South Carolina Youth Soccer players to international level games without leaving the state.
