Dear Soccer Friend,
On behalf of the South Carolina High School Soccer Coaches Association (SCHSSCA), I would like to invite you to the 2008 Winter Clinic to be held January 25-26 in Columbia, SC. The SCHSSCA has planned what we are hoping will be another successful event in the Palmetto State's capital city.
The Winter Clinic is available to any person(s) interested in youth soccer, whether it be at the recreational, club, or high school level. Last year, more than 100 soccer enthusiasts attended this event, which serves as a "true kickoff for the spring soccer campaigns." We encourage all coaches, referees, youth/club administrators, and general soccer fans to attend this two-day event. Our clinicians hail from both the men's and women's collegiate ranks from NCAA Division I to NAIA, as well as representation from the professional soccer ranks.
The SCHSSCA is also excited that our event will continue its' relationship with the state-of-the-art indoor facility in Northeast Columbia - The Plex. The Plex will allow us to have on-the-field demonstrations for the Saturday clinic sessions! Directions to the Plex may be found at this link.
We encourage you to make early arrangements with the the Clarion Town House Hotel (phone 803-771-8711 or 1-800-277-8711) in downtown Columbia which is offering a rate of $75 (with tax = $84.25). This rate is based on at least 20 total rooms being purchased by folks attending the SCHSSCA Winter Clinic. Be sure to tell the hotel that you are with the SCHSSCA Winter Soccer Clinic. The Clarion Town House Hotel offers the SCHSSCA price-breaks on meeting rooms, food/beverages, sponsor tables, etc. based on the number of rooms that are reserved in the Winter Clinic's name, so please strongly consider staying at this hotel when attending the Winter Clinic this year. The hotel is just four blocks from the Congaree Vista!
