Martinez Named
NSCAA All-American & POY

Northwestern graduate and current University
of North Carolina student-athlete Enzo Martinez was recognized as the NSCAA
National Player of the Year January 16 at the NSCAA National Convention in
Philadelphia, PA. Martinez is the first South Carolinian to achieve this
prestigious honor. Congratulations to Enzo and the Northwestern HS soccer
family!

NSCAA Scholar
All-America Team
Six South Carolina prep soccer players have
been named to the prestigious NSCAA Scholar All-America Team for 2009. In
order to qualify, players must have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better (on a
4.0 scale), must have demonstrated excellence in soccer at the high school
level, and must have performed service in his or her community. Nationally,
only 35 boys and 36 girls are named to this prestigious All-American team.
The players will be recognized at the NSCAA National Convention in
Philadelphia, January 16, 2010.
